Educating with Heart

HeronBridge College is an independent Curro Select School situated in Fourways. We accommodate learners from 3 years to Grade 12, at the end of which they write the IEB (Independent Examinations Board) exam. Built on a foundation of Christian principles, our heart-led and holistic approach to education encourages learners to grow into well-rounded, happy and confident individuals who are curious about the world around them.

HeronBridge Pre-Prep

Our safe, happy and creative environment supports early learning, growth and development.

Our progressive and child-centred teaching approach encourages a love for learning.

Our enhanced curriculum prepares learners for the IEB exam at the end of Grade 12.

Sport

Long-term athletic development is at the heart of our sporting programmes. Young learners are exposed to an array of activities, providing a strong foundation for specialisation from senior prep onwards.

Sporting staff are specialists in their fields and coaching takes place at state of the art facilities including an Astro field, a flood-lit rugby field, nine netball and tennis courts, multiple soccer fields, volleyball and basketball courts, a mountain-biking route, climbing wall, heated pool and high-performance centre.

Arts & Culture

Our cultural activities include a range of on and off-stage arts that provide learners with valuable 21st-century skills in presenting themselves and articulating their opinions in front of an audience. This includes annual major productions in the prep and college, competitions such as HEARTists, a range of co-curricular activities, as well as initiatives presented by Curro Create, which is a mentoring platform that encourages learners from Grade 4 to discover, develop and display their inherent creative talents.

Outreach

As a school founded on Christian principles, our outreach and chaplaincy department gives a fuller expression to the vision and mission of the school. This is seen in direct ministry, outreach, mission trips, Bridge of Hope (our on-site community store), and bringing thought leadership and Biblical thinking and teaching to the school.

Weekly Boarding

Weekly boarding for boys in Grade 8 to 10 offers learners an opportunity to thrive within a structured environment that caters to the academic, sporty, cultural or social child.

With a maximum of two boarders per room, our boarding house is designed to create a sense of comfort and security, and be a home away from home.

We look forward to welcoming you!
