HeronBridge College is situated on the R114 in Fourways, along the Jukskei River. Just 15 minutes away from Centurion and 10 minutes away from Broadacres, the school is ideally located for families traveling from various locations.

Built into the scenery, learners have the wonderful privilege of schooling in the city on ‘country grounds.’

The school is split into four sections: the pre-prep, prep, and college on school side, and a sports campus across the road. The capacity for school learners is 1500 across all three schools, and HeronBridge College is proud to offer spacious and well-designed classrooms that facilitate collaborative, individual, creative and outside learning opportunities.

The school opened its doors in 2001 and has expanded onto its already incredible facilities over the years.

In 2012, key renovations took place to erect the main auditorium, known as Baobab, which comfortably seats over 600 people and provides a full service sound desk and lighting array for theatre productions, assemblies and more.

A brand new robotics lab was opened in the prep school in 2021, which sees Grade 1 to 7 learners participate in coding, programming, the building of robotic kits, drone development, and more. A curriculum imperative for all Curro schools, robotics is part of learners’ critical skills development and future readiness.

With sporting excellence and sports development as a key focus of the school, HeronBridge College built a state-of-the-art hockey astro in 2018, and floodlights were added to our main sports field in 2021.

The school also offers multiple soccer fields, 9 netball and tennis courts, volleyball and basketball courts, a mountain-biking route, climbing wall and heated pool, as well as a high-performance centre, fit with top-class sports equipment and conditioning coaches.

A Seattle Coffee Company coffee shop is housed at the sports campus, and an additional mobile station is based in the college.

In 2023 HeronBridge College will welcome 16 boarders to Founders House, as it expands the school offering to welcome weekly boarding for boys.

This is part of an ongoing strategy to ensure that the school remains relevant to the needs of current and prospective HeronBridge College families, while keeping to our ethos and approach of holistic learning.

The boarding house forms part of HeronBridge Retreat, which is a hospitality offering that caters to large or small church groups, school camps, sports festivals, and larger conferences.
